What is PacketEngine and how does it work?

PacketEngine is a platform for finding and monitoring subdomains, otherwise known as subdomain enumeration. Simply add a domain and PacketEngine will intelligently and automatically discover its subdomains using a range of techniques. You can then use the PacketEngine CLI in your recon workflow.

Why should I use PacketEngine?

Subdomain enumeration is hard work. Getting it right even harder. We've carefully designed PacketEngine to make subdomain enumeration painless and to make it an optimal tool for bug bounty hunters, pentesters, and security teams. Spend less time building and more time hacking!

What data does PacketEngine gather?

We primarily gather subdomains — that's what we're good at! We also gather DNS records (A, AAAA, and CNAME) and make them available to you. PacketEngine keeps a history of changes to DNS records and you can optionally receive notifications when these changes occur.

Do you have an API?

Yes! Every subscribed user has full access to our API without any limits. Please see our integrations page for details.

How much does PacketEngine cost?

Please see our pricing page. We have plans for everyone, from individuals to large businesses.

Is there a trial available?

Can I change my plan later?

Absolutely! If you change your plan your bill will be prorated.

Do you offer refunds?

If you cancel your subscription you'll continue to have access to PacketEngine without any interruption until your billing date. This gives you a chance to resume your subscription if you change your mind. Refunds are available except to users on their first billing cycle who have added a domain. This is because PacketEngine needs time to learn for you to experience it at its best. If you really, really want a refund please feel free to contact us.

What types of payment do you accept?

We accept PayPal and credit and debit card payments, including Mastercard, Visa, Maestro, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, JCB, UnionPay, and Mada.

What is PacketEngine Collect?

PacketEngine Collect is our passive DNS service and CLI tool. Users can automatically submit DNS queries from their computer and PacketEngine will utilise this data in its scans.
